Unfortunatley the computer we bought six years ago isn't quite keeping up with the 16,000plus pictures and many files we have downloaded on it. While there is light at the end of the tunnel (we should be receiving our new Mac in the mail today) I haven't been able to upload pics onto our blog so I basically just haven't blogged. I did want to do a quick fun post about the silly things I obsess about. Basically my house may always be a mess, and I clearly have no idea what our finances are or what bills need to be paid but I'm a stickler for the mundane.
10. My kids and lotion. I would love to douse them with Baby Magic everyday but I digress they are getting older. I insist they put lotion on their faces everyday however. They've inherited dry skin and I like their faces glowing.
9. The kids being on time for school or activities. Clearly we all run late at some point or another but I hated being late to school and asking for a tardy slip from the office when I was a kid so most days they are at school a good twenty minutes early.
8. A clean sink. As mentioned previously my house is rarely immaculate but I detest a dirty sink.
7. Dance Moms. It's a guilty pleasure that both Bailey and I are addicted to.
6. Lotion. Not only do my kids need to be lotioned up I am constantly applying it. I need to smell good and I love soft skin.
5. Smells. I'm a freak about smells. I am quite paranoid that my house smells or worse that I do so I always have candles burning and of course smelly lotion on.
4. Spelling and punctuality. Auto spell check drives me nuts. I detest when it corrects things for me the wrong way. I CAN spell. If I have incorrect grammar or punctuation it's the computer mis-correcting my mistakes.
3. Little girl clothes. For myself, it's basically if it looks good in the store and looks comfortable enough that I could wear it without having to try it on, it's for me. When it comes to little girl clothes it's a different story. I have a dozen sites I browse through often online, and boutique clothes are a weakness. I've wondered if I counted what I've spent on Peyton's wardrobe what it would be. I talk myself out of it though because it's probably better no one knows.
2. My sheets. I like clean, wrinkle free, cool sheets to sleep. Nothing is more frustrating than someone lying on my side of the bed before I go to sleep. I prefer the bed to be made all day so that when I slide in the sheets are perfectly perfect. Mat rolls around in the bed and messes his side up like crazy. It's an issue.
1. My yard. I had never mowed a lawn until Mat and I had built our first home and I asked nine to show me how. I love it. I love adding plants and flowers to the landscape and truthfully have very close to what my dream yard is. It's just missing the pool. ;)
Yah, I'm a freak.
